Welcoming Alex Fisentzides to the Securus Communications Team
We are excited to announce that Alex Fisentzides has joined Securus Communications as our new Network Engineer. Alex brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, making him a valuable addition to our technical team.
In his role, Alex will be responsible for supporting customer environments through fault management, onboarding, and implementation. His deep understanding of IT infrastructure and his ability to adapt to different environments will ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients across all sectors.
A Proven Track Record in IT and Networking
Alex’s career has spanned a variety of roles, showcasing his ability to manage diverse IT environments.
- Experience in Education: At Redhill, Alex was part of a small team providing IT support across the school, implementing innovative technologies to enhance teaching and learning. This role gave him hands-on experience in managing IT systems in a fast-paced educational setting, equipping him with transferable skills to address a broad spectrum of IT issues.
- Enterprise-Level Expertise: In his role with The Best Connection, Alex supported over 80 branches across the UK and Canada. His work with technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, and Intune allowed him to deepen his knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Networking Proficiency: At King’s Worcester, Alex managed network maintenance and configuration across four sites. This role gave him invaluable experience in troubleshooting real-world networking issues and working with both proprietary and multivendor hardware and technologies.

Alex’s blend of experience across multiple sectors makes him uniquely positioned to support our diverse client base. His deep understanding of the needs of educational institutions will strengthen our support for schools and colleges, while his experience with enterprise IT systems ensures that all our clients will benefit from his skills.
